Becca Dutton

Becca, married to Luke, plays a vital role in the behind-the-scenes operations of Dutton Referrals. Although not a veterinary professional, Becca’s experience as a human medical GP brings a unique and valuable perspective to the business. After completing her medical degree at Brighton & Sussex Medical School, she worked in various NHS hospitals in Cambridgeshire before commencing and completing her GP training. She now works as an NHS GP, where she enjoys teaching medical students and is becoming a trainer for future GPs.

Becca’s medical background equips her with a deep understanding of patient care, empathy, and effective communication—all of which are essential in running a successful referral business. Becca’s skills in handling patient expectations and providing compassionate care translate seamlessly into the veterinary context, enhancing client relations and support.

Luke and Becca share their home with a cat named Merlot, who rules the roost and is known for her impressive mouse-catching prowess.
